Chairman's Note

Following the 20th anniversary of the Association in 2011, it is a great honor for me to write this letter to begin the next 20 years. The AYSS is today a strong and unique partner to the Superyacht Industry and we look forward to many more years to come, together with you, as Captain, as well as with your Crew.

Today the AYSS have 70 full members, 6 associate members and is a corporate member of the PYA and reciprocal member of the USSA. The members are widely spread out over the Globe, both in well-known areas as well as in remote locations. We are constantly aiming at introducing new members and this way link the world together within the Super Yacht Industry in order to have an AYSS member serving you in whatever Port your Owner should like to pay a visit in.

For those of you who are not aware, each member of AYSS has diligently been evaluated and vetted before entering the Association and one of our key words is to provide you and your Crew with the best support and service in a highly professional manner.  The AYSS is based on a Code of Conduct which you will find in the back of our Handbook and each member is strictly bound to operate under these guidelines.

Within the AYSS, I see a great deal of motivation and dedication to the Super Yacht profession coupled with valuable of knowledge and experience which you can benefit from. The AYSS is a unified front to our clients with great skills and assurance of commitment to service within the industry and I highly recommend you to contact an AYSS agent before going to or getting underway to whatever Port/Area in the world.

Obviously, with the number of members within the AYSS, we have access to and are gathering a lot of news and information which is a vital part while cruising. By using an AYSS member, you will not only have an excellent support to the boat and the Crew, but also be able to gain from this information making the trip even more enjoyable for the Owners, Guests and Charter clients.
