Chairman's Introduction

As the Superyacht industry continues to evolve and develop at a very optimistic rate, the size and complexity of new launches continues to exceed the expectations of only a few years ago. The world’s oceans are being explored by an ever growing number of Superyachts searching for new horizons to discover.

The world of large yachts is unique; the great vessels themselves, the owners, guests and crew,
the passages, the destinations, regattas and events all provide us with a unique variety of challenges,
an incredible source of pleasure and a lifestyle we wouldn’t trade with anyone.

The one element common to all the above is an ocean. Chances are you can lift your eyes from
this page and see salt water. The chances are also very good that in the yachting centers of the
world, there is an AYSS member ready and able to assist you with all manner of comprehensive
yacht support and critical services, both locally and globally.

The executive council and I are dedicated to building bridges and creating dialogue with captains,
engineers, yacht builders and yards, brokers, suppliers and industry leaders to facilitate the highest
quality services available anywhere . . . . and everywhere.
